Is it any surprise that I'm a Trekkie? (Or that I'm loyal to the original series with Captain Kirk, Spock, Doctor McCoy, Scotty, Uhura, Chekov, Sulu and Ms Chapel). Live long and prosper!
Of course, I'm also a huge fan of the spinoff series, most especially:
Star Trek: The Next Generation
Star Trek: Voyager
Star Trek: Lower Decks
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds
Star Trek: Discovery
Star Trek: Picard
“Highly illogical.” – Spock
Oh, Spock, you flatter me.
Today, I want to share with you the two Star Trek maps in my shop, plus a USS Enterprise mug. I created the ship schematics in a blueprint style to add to that sci-fi space in your home office.
USS Enterprise
NCC-1701, captained by James T. Kirk (and before that, Christopher Pike), embarks on its mission to explore strange new worlds; to seek out new life and new civilizations; to boldly go where no man has gone before.
Alright, so we've added women to the equation now. But the message is essentially the same: Let's explore this gosh darn universe and see what's around the next planet.
Now, to warp speed!
I created two versions of this map because I'm indecisive, and I couldn't choose whether I preferred the vertical or horizontal one. I've posted a poll below to gauge your thoughts!
Which layout do you prefer?
Vertical
Horizontal
"Without freedom of choice, there is no creativity.” – Captain James T. Kirk
USS Enterprise Ceramic Mug
With the intro quote from The Next Generation, this mug says all you need to say about being a Trekkie.
“Things are only impossible until they’re not.” – Captain Jean-Luc Picard
USS Discovery
I love the detail in this map of the USS Discovery, with characters like Michael Burnham, young Spock, Sarek, etc. Which background colour do you prefer for this design?
“Computers make excellent and efficient servants, but I have no wish to serve under them.” – Spock
Which background colour do you like best?
- Brown
- White
- Blue
Your Takeaway
Star Trek is awesome. That's all!
And until next time...
“KHAAANNN!” – Captain James T. Kirk
